Child & Adult Care Food Program:
The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federally funded program that helps licensed family child care providers serve nutritious meals and snacks to the children in their care. The purpose of the CACFP is to ensure that eligible children and adults in qualifying facilities receive nutritious meals. The CACFP provides partial reimbursements to providers who participate in the program. Proper nutrition is essential in supporting the growth and development of young children. The Person County Partnership for Children /Child Care Resource and Referral is the sponsoring agency for the CACFP in Person and Caswell counties. If you are interested in the CACFP and would like more information, contact Tonya Williams.
