Imagination LibraryAll Aboard the Imagination Library Train Patron Program
Our on-going development efforts seek funding to provide new and continuing services for young children and families in Person County. Our All Aboard the Imagination Library Train Patron Program was launched in November 2006 to support Person County's children birth to five to receive an age appropriate book in the mail each month until their 5th birthday. The Imagination Library is a free gift to our young children; however, the Partnership must cover the $30 per child per year costs. If you, your family, civic organization, business, industry or church would like to become an Imagination Library Patron, the Partnership would greatly appreciate your help in our efforts to improve literacy in Person County. Taste of the Season is a biennial event, sponsored by the Board of the Partnership for Children to raise funds to support new and continuing services for young children and families.
The upcoming event is scheduled for November 10, 2007.

Taste of the Season
Taste of the Season is a very festive evening event: Our silent auction offers cakes, desserts and sweets by local chefs, as well as gift baskets, jewelry and other goodies; the live auction features dinner parties, barbeques and other larger items. The funds raised in the 2007 Taste of the Season will be directed to the newly developed program, Adults and Children in Education which emphasizes parent and child literacy. If you would like to participate in the 2007 Taste of the Season, contact the Partnership Office.
